Emails from the accuser and main witness, David Meehan, indicate that he is being pressured by the State of New Hampshire to testify against James Woodlock and say something other than the truth

Sgt. Kelly Healey, a NH State Police detective, has been the lead investigator of the YDC abuse allegations. Healey has interviewed alleged victims of YDC abuse, as well as the staff members being accused. Healey’s investigations have led to the arrest and prosecution of several former YDC staff, including the conviction of Brad Asbury.

Chris Thomson’s Op-Ed "YDC Lawsuits: The most disturbing case of fraud ever seen in NH” was a welcome fresh take on the YDC cases. I noticed David Vicinanzo’s comment under it. He is one of the lead attorneys suing the State. He doth protest too much. He was a federal prosecutor in Concord in the 1990s when the majority of the abuse at YDC allegedly took place.

Over the last few weeks, the response I have received from my YDC opinion column has been overwhelming. I heard from countless former YDC staff members who worked with those being accused. I heard from family members of the former staff members being accused. I heard from friends of those being accused. I even had neighbors of those being accused reach out to me.

Countless years after being released, thousands of people across America are claiming they were sexually and physically abused while they were housed at juvenile detention facilities.

Attorneys behind the suits have appeared repeatedly across jurisdictions, advertising hotlines, conducting media campaigns, and coordinating filings to maximize legal leverage.
