A jury found Woodlock guilty of two counts of being an accomplice to felonious sexual assault following his trial in September, 2025. Since his conviction, Woodlock has been held in jail. The conviction came as a shock to many, as there was no evidence, no witnesses and no former staff members who came forward to acknowledge the alleged abuse. The jury found Woodlock guilty based solely on the testimony of one alleged victim, David Meehan. 

On November 19th, another trial concluded that glaringly exposed the lies and fraud associated with the thousands of YDC abuse claims and subsequent payments accusers have received.

On Monday, November 10th, the State of New Hampshire will once again attempt to convince a jury that Stephen Murphy abused children while he worked at YDC.

Emails from the accuser and main witness, David Meehan, indicate that he is being pressured by the State of New Hampshire to testify against James Woodlock and say something other than the truth

Sgt. Kelly Healey, a NH State Police detective, has been the lead investigator of the YDC abuse allegations. Healey has interviewed alleged victims of YDC abuse, as well as the staff members being accused. Healey’s investigations have led to the arrest and prosecution of several former YDC staff, including the conviction of Brad Asbury.

As a former YDC/SYSC House Leader and Residential Supervisor, I certainly would have been aware of abuse of any resident in any one of the cottages I worked at—and especially at SYSC as a supervisor.
