Launched by New Hampshire business leader Jay Lucas, The Granite Eagle was created to provide a platform for voices too often sidelined by corporate media. We champion accuracy over outrage, depth over distraction, and truth over trend—giving readers an honest perspective in an increasingly filtered world.

In 2025, The Granite Eagle relaunched under the editorial leadership of longtime columnist Chris Thompson, who now serves as Editor-in-Chief. A lifelong Granite Stater and seasoned commentator, Chris brings nearly two decades of experience and over 800 published columns to his role. His weekly column, The Right Angle, appears exclusively in The Granite Eagle and on HowieCarrShow.com, offering readers a no-nonsense take on politics, culture, and the issues affecting everyday Americans.
