YDC Fraud follows a long history and it always involves the same lawyers
Chris Thomson’s Op-Ed "YDC Lawsuits: The most disturbing case of fraud ever seen in NH” was a welcome fresh take on the YDC cases. I noticed David Vicinanzo’s comment under it. He is one of the lead attorneys suing the State. He doth protest too much. He was a federal prosecutor in Concord in the 1990s when the majority of the abuse at YDC allegedly took place.

In Child Care, As In Housing, Maybe The Government’s Doing A Bit Too Much?
Surging child care prices have grabbed the media’s attention here in New Hampshire, and rightly so. The price of full-time care in a licensed center “jumped 48 percent between 2013 and 2023,” landing at nearly $32,000 a year, according to an analysis last year by the Carsey School of Public Policy at UNH.

Response to YDC Lawsuits Column Was Eye Opening
Over the last few weeks, the response I have received from my YDC opinion column has been overwhelming. I heard from countless former YDC staff members who worked with those being accused. I heard from family members of the former staff members being accused. I heard from friends of those being accused. I even had neighbors of those being accused reach out to me.

As talk of the program growing beyond expectations spread through social media, readers of this website shouldn’t have been surprised by the numbers.
They’re almost exactly what we predicted five months ago.

Be grateful for the freedom we have
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend an event that had a major impact on my patriotism and reinforced my strong belief about how fortunate we are to live in the United States of America. I was also reminded of the sacrifices so many great Americans in the armed forces make to allow people like you and I to live the lives we live.

Disregarding Trump’s Accomplishments is Unamerican
Ever since Donald Trump began his second term as President of the United States, there has been a constant barrage of activity. The pace at which the Trump administration works is something that leaves most people in awe. I’m not quite sure how he gets the energy he has, but I am thankful we have a president working so hard for us every day.

Hidden Utility Charges Are Undermining Energy Freedom—and Costing You More
When you open your electric bill, you expect to pay for the power you use and the wires that deliver it. What you probably don’t expect is to help cover someone else’s energy losses—especially when those losses come from an investor owned utility.

Question every news source
A few months ago, I was having dinner with a fourteen-year-old member of my family. We were talking about the news and what is going on in the world and we struck up a conversation about current events. The discussion shifted to the New Year's Day terrorist attack in New Orleans where a deranged ISIS influenced lunatic drove his truck into a crowd of people. My family member told me that he had heard about the incident and from his understanding, a truck was responsible for t
